    More often than not, new episodes will be available the morning (East Coast time) after they air.

    When something is 28 days away from expiring we will let you know by adding an expiration date to the episode.

  • What devices can I use to watch Food Network?

    Food Network is available on smartphone, tablets, and desktop computers. The Food Network app is available for iOS and Android and will work with most iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

  • Why do I sometimes get logged out?

    We do our best to keep you logged in so you can watch all your favorite episodes as quickly as possible. However, occasionally, you may be prompted to authenticate again, especially if you’ve been logged in for several weeks or have recently cleared your cache.

  • Why does it say that my subscription doesn't allow me access to locked videos or networks? can only offer you full access to networks that are part of your existing cable, satellite or telecommunications TV package. If you do not subscribe to a package that includes a network, or your provider does not offer a network, you will not be able to watch it through

    If you want access to those episodes and channels, or you believe that you have been blocked from that content by mistake, please contact your TV provider.

  • Why are some shows on the live stream blacked out?

    Due to rights restrictions, not all shows are available on all devices.

  • Can I access while outside of the U.S.?

    At this time, is only available on U.S. domestic Internet services.


  • What mobile devices are the most compatible with Food Network?

    Food Network is optimized for iPhone 5 and above, iPad 3 and above, Samsung Galaxy S4 and above and Samsung Galaxy tablets. Food Network is compatible with devices that support iOS 7 and above and Android 4.1.x and above. The more up-to-date your operating system and the newer your device, the better the Food Network experience will be.

  • What are the requirements for watching on my computer?

    In order to watch on your laptop or desktop, please be sure you're using the latest browser versions: Chrome v43; Firefox v38; Safari v7+; Internet Explorer v11+.


  • My app won't load or quits unexpectedly.

    We know that is frustrating; however, most commonly this problem can be solved by deleting the app and reinstalling it.

  • Can I watch videos when I am not connected to the Internet?

    No, sorry, you must be connected to the Internet to enjoy Food Network.

  • Can I watch over a cellular connections?

    You will have the best experience watching via a wireless connection, but Food Network will work on cellular services.

  • The video keeps freezing or is slow to load, I see something that looks like a pinwheel, the audio plays but the screen is black, or the display looks fuzzy.

    Are you trying to watch over your cell service? Food Network will work on 3G and 4G cellular services, but you will have a much better experience if you're connected to a wireless network.

  • I'm connected to a wireless network and I still have issues.

    Food Network uses adaptive bitrate streaming, which means that the quality of the video you are watching is based on the speed of your Internet service and how close you are to your wireless router.

  • I see a message "Please enable internet plug-ins in Safari settings" when I play live stream.

    Please go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced tab, and uncheck the checkbox setting labeled "Internet plug-ins: Stop plug-ins to save power"
